    Hi, we host the site on site ground, use a caching plugin as well as Memcached option, yet only getting a 51 score on mobile. Any ideas to better this

    Hi,

    It is difficult to propose improvements because each site/server uses different plugins/caching methods.
    You could follow PageSpeed recommendations in order to improve the score, this is what we also do!

    Also you could also check the demo https://demos.pokatheme.com/pokatheme/ in Google Pagespeed in order to see what your site should get without any plugins or optimizations.

    Hi, we did put the demo on, and posted the results on here. It scored 51 then and now 62

    Hi,

    Indeed something changed in Google PageSpeed rating system these days and now it scores 62/100 in the mobile.
    We’ll check it for the next version of the theme in order to be improved!

    do you need only a good cache and it works well, we setup a testsite with only litespeed cache and score is nearly 100. Only big rong point is iquery.js in this theme.

    That will change when you start adding content and other plugins, the site you have shown is just a shell really.

    Yes sure, you are right but is allways up to the site owner or developer. we have also large sites with 36 plugins+ (some old, no more supported) and the score is mobil over 85 what is still good. but i explain only the plain score for this theme is well, that was all what i was sayed!
