    Hi! In the theme settings (Customizing ▸ Visual Settings ▸ Colors), there is a choice of footer colors: background and text. By default— the background is white, the text is black. I do the opposite — the background is black, the text is white. The background changes to black. The text does not change to white. The texts remain black.

    I tried it in different ways. The text turns white only if you select the color of the main text (on the page).

    But then it becomes unreadable in the main part of the page.

    Is this a mistake? How can I fix it?

    Hi!!! -)) I have described this in detail. This is not just a problem with my site, but with the theme as a whole. I have installed the theme on different sites, customized from the beginning. On any site, the latest version of the theme works as I described above.
    Try to go into the settings I mentioned and follow the steps described. You will see that when you set the footer color and the footer text color, only the footer color works correctly. Footer text color does not work correctly.

    The “Footer text color” takes affect only on Footer copyright area.

    I can understand that you want to it to change color on widget area if i am not mistaken.
    Tou can ovverite the colors via custom css area.

    Thanks for the explanation and the hint! Can you give me an example of CSS code that sets the background color and text color for the widget area?

    The css bellow is a css example for the footer widget area, but for sure this is may need changes based of the preferences and for each site !

    .footer-widgets .widget > h3 {
    color: #000 !important;
    }
